Watson and the Shark is the second single release from The Lost Decades.

It tells the true story of the life of Brook Watson, an English merchant and soldier who, in 1749 at age 14, was attacked by a shark off the coast of Havana. The attack resulted in his right leg being amputated beneath the knee. Watson would go on to live an extraordinary life as a military man, politician, head of the bank of England and Lord Mayor of London.

Watson's shark attack was immortalised in John Singleton Copley's 1778 painting "Watson and the Shark".
